About The Position

Nexodus Clean is expanding its independent contractor provider network and is seeking dedicated, reliable cleaning professionals to service designated commercial and industrial facilities under an independent contractor agreement. This is not an employment position: providers operate as independent 1099 contractors and use their own methods, equipment, and schedule within the scope of each service agreement.

Services may include general cleaning, floor care, cleaning restrooms and other common areas, minor facility upkeep, and additional tasks such as painting touch-ups or light repairs when agreed in the service agreement. Providers must follow site safety protocols and meet applicable hygiene and presentation standards. Providers are responsible for their own tools, transportation, and supplies unless otherwise specified in the service agreement.

The listed pay rate is $25 to $30 per hour. Commercial or industrial cleaning, custodial work, or facilities-maintenance experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Ability to safely and effectively operate cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to service quality standards.
• Physical capability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for the duration of a service visit.
• Dependable, self-directed work style consistent with independent contractor status.
• Providers are responsible for their own tools, transportation, and supplies unless otherwise specified in the service agreement.

Nice To Haves

• Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities-maintenance experience, especially in commercial or industrial settings.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing and stripping.
• Residential painting or industrial cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in designated areas.
• Perform floor care, such as buffing, polishing, and stripping.
• Use the provider’s own cleaning equipment and supplies for commercial- or industrial-grade tasks.
• Service restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other common areas to hygiene and presentation standards.
• Perform minor facility upkeep tasks as scoped in the service agreement.
• Adhere to site safety protocols while performing services.
• Perform additional scoped tasks such as painting touch-ups or light repairs when agreed.
