In-Home Physician Full Time - Lynchburg, VA
About The Position
Signify Health, part of CVS Health, is seeking a full-time physician to provide in-home health evaluations in Lynchburg, Virginia. The role focuses on building trusted relationships with health plan members and helping connect them with care suited to their needs. Visits typically last about 45 minutes and include a medication and medical history review, a physical evaluation, and additional diagnostic tests when ordered by the member’s health plan. Physicians use an iPad and an intuitive clinical workflow. They are not required to prescribe medication, order lab tests, or change a member’s current treatment regimen. The position also includes virtual visits as needed and local travel within licensed states. The primary workplace is the private residence of health plan members. Home environments vary and may include household pets, secondhand smoke, and other airborne allergens or irritants; clinicians must be able to perform their duties comfortably and safely in these settings. The stated pay range is $110.00 per hour. The actual offer may depend on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. The application window is anticipated to close on 12/31/2026.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted medical license(s) in the coverage area(s).
- Ability to comfortably and safely perform duties in members’ homes, which may contain household pets, secondhand smoke, and other potential airborne allergens or irritants.

Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home health evaluations, including medication and medical history reviews and physical evaluations.
- Perform additional diagnostic tests when ordered by the member’s health plan, such as diabetic eye exams, spirometry, and bone density screening.
- Use an iPad and the clinical workflow for each evaluation.
- Travel locally and within licensed states as needed.
- Conduct virtual visits as needed.
- Provide Signify Health services as indicated, including Diagnostic & Preventive Services products.
- Help connect members with appropriate care and support improved health outcomes.
