About The Position

Signify Health, part of CVS Health, is seeking a full-time physician to provide in-home health evaluations to health plan members in Lynchburg, Virginia. The role focuses on building trusted relationships, helping members address gaps in care, and providing flexible, comprehensive, and personalized health evaluations in their homes. Visits last about 45 minutes and include a medication and medical history review, a physical evaluation, and additional diagnostic tests when ordered by the member’s health plan. Physicians use an iPad and an intuitive clinical workflow. They are not required to prescribe medicine, order lab tests, or change a member’s current treatment regimen.

The primary workplace is the private residence of health plan members. Home environments vary and may include household pets, secondhand smoke, and other airborne allergens or irritants. Physicians must be able to perform their duties safely and comfortably in these settings. Local and in-state travel may be required, as well as virtual visits when needed.

The position is full-time, with 40 anticipated weekly hours. The stated pay range is $110.00–$110.00 per hour; the actual offer may depend on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted physician license(s) in the coverage area(s).
• Ability to comfortably and safely perform duties in members’ homes, which may contain household pets, secondhand smoke, and other potential airborne allergens or irritants.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home health evaluations and build trusted relationships with health plan members.
• Review members’ medications and medical histories and perform physical evaluations.
• Perform additional diagnostic tests when ordered by the member’s health plan, including services such as diabetic eye exams, spirometry, and bone density screening.
• Use an iPad and the clinical workflow for each evaluation.
• Provide Signify Health services as indicated, including Diagnostic & Preventive Services products.
• Travel locally and within licensed states as needed.
• Conduct virtual visits as needed.
• Help connect members with appropriate care and support improved health outcomes.
