In-Home Physician Full Time - Roanoke
About The Position
Signify Health, part of CVS Health, is seeking a full-time physician to provide in-home health evaluations and help bridge gaps in care. Physicians engage with people in their homes, build trusted relationships, and support health outcomes through flexible, comprehensive, and personalized evaluations. Visits last about 45 minutes and include a medication and medical history review, a physical evaluation, and additional diagnostic tests when ordered by the person’s health plan. Physicians use an iPad and an intuitive clinical workflow. They are not required to prescribe medicine, order lab tests, or alter a person’s current treatment regimen. The role may also include virtual visits and providing indicated diagnostic and preventive services. The primary workplace is the private residence of health plan members. Home environments vary and may include household pets, secondhand smoke, and other potential airborne allergens or irritants. Candidates must be able to perform their duties comfortably and safely in these settings. The position anticipates 40 weekly hours and offers a base pay range of $110.00 to $110.00 per hour, with actual compensation dependent on factors such as experience, education, and geography.
Requirements
- Hold an active, unrestricted physician license in the coverage area(s).
- Be able to comfortably and safely perform duties in varied private residences that may contain household pets, secondhand smoke, and other potential airborne allergens or irritants.

Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home health evaluations, including medication and medical history reviews and physical evaluations.
- Perform additional diagnostic tests when ordered by a health plan, such as diabetic eye exams or spirometry.
- Use an iPad and the clinical workflow for each evaluation.
- Build trusted relationships with people and help connect them to care that meets their needs.
- Travel locally and within licensed states as needed.
- Conduct virtual visits as needed.
- Provide Signify Health services as indicated, including diagnostic and preventive services such as spirometry, diabetic eye exams, and bone density screening.
- Fulfill the requirements of the specified clinician role.
