About The Position

Visiting Angels of Bryan is hiring In Home Personal Aides to support senior adults and other home-care clients throughout Central Texas, including Navasota, Bryan, College Station, Brenham, Madisonville, Huntsville, Caldwell, and Hearne. Aides help clients remain or recover at home with dignity. Visits vary by client and may take place in homes or facilities, depending on location. The role requires responding promptly to medical emergencies and reporting health changes or unusual circumstances. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent time-management skills.
Reliable transportation to client visits.

Responsibilities

Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
Manage light housekeeping.
Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals.
Prompt clients to take prescription medications at the appropriate times.
Help clients shop and put away groceries, or shop on their behalf.
Plan and prepare meals with clients, based on their abilities.
Assist clients with mobility and ambulation, including getting around the house, visiting the doctor, and taking walks.
Act quickly in medical emergencies.
Report health changes or unusual circumstances.
