About The Position

The In-Home Furniture Repair Technician repairs products from RH’s broad assortment of furniture and accessories to ensure they meet quality standards. This client-facing role involves visiting clients in their homes within an assigned territory and providing first-class service through excellent communication and relationship-building. Repairs may also take place in RH Galleries and Home Delivery Centers.

Requirements

• Demonstrate teamwork, ownership, urgency and attention to detail.
• Be able to perform touch-up repairs on wood, leather and fabric; apply coatings and finishes to surfaces such as metal, stone, marble and concrete; and have knowledge of framing and furniture construction methods.
• Have outstanding communication and problem-solving skills to provide first-class customer service.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Be able to visit clients within an assigned geographic territory.
• Pass a background check, drug screen and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
• Be able to lift and mobilize items weighing at least 75 pounds.
