About The Position

The In-Home Furniture Repair Technician repairs products from RH’s assortment of furniture and accessories to meet the company’s quality standards. The role is client-facing and involves visiting clients in their homes within an assigned territory. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are important to providing first-class client service. Repairs may take place in customers’ homes, RH Galleries, and Home Delivery Centers.

Requirements

• Demonstrate teamwork, ownership, urgency, and attention to detail.
• Be able to perform touch-up repairs on wood, leather, and fabric; apply coatings and finishes to surfaces such as metal, stone, marble, and concrete; and understand framing and furniture construction methods.
• Have outstanding communication and problem-solving skills to provide first-class customer service.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Be able to visit clients within an assigned geographic territory.
• Pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR check.
• Be able to lift and mobilize items weighing at least 75 pounds.
