In-Home Flooring and Design Sales Consultant
About The Position
Floor Coverings International brings the showroom to the customer's living room. You'll drive a fully-stocked Mobile Showroom van straight to homeowners' doors, walk them through flooring options on a tablet, and help them fall in love with their new space. Then you close the deal and hand off to our install team — so you're free to move on to the next opportunity. We hand you a mobile showroom, a strong local reputation, and company-generated leads. Our top earners also build their own pipeline — networking with builders, designers, realtors, and past clients to keep referrals flowing. If you like being out in the community and turning relationships into business, this is built for you.
Requirements
- 2+ years of outside sales, in-home sales, or another high-trust, face-to-face sales role
- A natural networker energized by meeting people and turning relationships into business
- Competitive, coachable, and closes with integrity — not pressure
- Comfortable with a tablet-based sales process (we'll train you on the specifics)
- Valid driver's license; flexible for some evenings/weekends around appointments

- Background in flooring, construction, or interior design
Responsibilities
- Running warm, scheduled in-home appointments — company-generated and self-sourced
- Selling with tools that do the work for you: our tablet system handles room visualizations, pricing, and product info on the spot
- Owning the whole client relationship, from first hello to referral request
- Actively networking with builders, designers, realtors, and past clients to build a steady referral pipeline
