About The Position

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families across Houston, Katy, Richmond, Houston Heights, Pearland, Sugar Land, and Pasadena, Texas. This role offers a unique practice environment free from waiting rooms, double-booked appointments, and corporate production dashboards, allowing veterinarians to focus on providing compassionate end-of-life care. The practice is privately held, family-owned, and doctor-led, and importantly, does not utilize non-compete agreements, ensuring veterinarians have career freedom. This position is ideal for experienced doctors seeking a slower pace than general or emergency practice, those returning to medicine after a break, or individuals building a schedule around family needs. The ideal candidate excels at difficult conversations and finds fulfillment in providing meaningful end-of-life care.

Requirements

• DVM/VMD/BVMS
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to Work Independently in a Mobile Environment
• Weekend Availability (Rotational)
• Ability to Lift up to 45 lbs Unassisted
• Professional Communication Skills

Responsibilities
