About The Position

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families across Pittsburgh, Carnegie, McKees Rocks, Bellevue, and Brentwood, Pennsylvania. This role offers a unique practice environment free from waiting rooms, double-booked appointments, and corporate production pressures. The focus is on providing compassionate, unhurried end-of-life care, allowing veterinarians to spend quality time with pets and their families. The practice is privately held, family-owned, and doctor-led, emphasizing a supportive environment and a commitment to not using non-compete contracts, ensuring veterinarians have career freedom.

Requirements

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
• Weekend availability (rotational)
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
• Exude compassion, dignity, and respect to all
• Professional communication to team & families
