About The Position

The In-Home Caregiver works one-on-one with individuals in their homes to provide support and help them grow, learn, and live well. The role includes building meaningful relationships, supporting participants’ developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, and helping them take part in community activities and enjoy their favorite activities. Caregivers may support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs. The posting states that this position does not involve personal care, medication administration, or lifting/transferring, while also describing personal hygiene support among the broader caregiver duties. Mileage reimbursement is provided. The listed schedule is Monday 11 a.m.–1 p.m. and 3:30–7:30 p.m.; Tuesday 11 a.m.–1 p.m. and 5–7:30 p.m.; Wednesday 1–3 p.m. and 3:30–7:30 p.m.; and Thursday 11 a.m.–1 p.m. and 2–5 p.m. The schedule is flexible, with no overnights, weekends, or holidays.

Requirements

Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behavior.
Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
