About The Position

Senior Solutions Home Care is hiring in-home Caregivers in Kingsport, Tennessee, to provide one-on-one care to seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes. The role is open to experienced caregivers, CNAs, DSPs, home health aides, and people new to home care; paid training and ongoing support are provided.

Schedules are built around client care needs, caregiver availability and location, and willingness to travel. Shifts range from 2 to 12 hours, and caregivers may serve one or multiple clients. Schedules may change as client needs change. The role is offered on full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules.

Starting base pay is $14 per hour. Eligible caregivers with an active Tennessee CNA certification may receive an additional $1 per hour, and eligible hours worked during specified overnight and weekend periods may receive a $1-per-hour shift differential. Additional premium pay may be available for eligible client assignments. Paid training and continued education are provided, with required online training to be completed within the first 30 days. Eligible caregivers may pursue NADSP E-Badge credentials (DSP I, II, and III) and may earn up to $4,150 in program bonuses, subject to bonus requirements.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license or state-issued ID.
• A second acceptable form of employment eligibility identification.
• Reliable transportation.
• Smartphone for scheduling and communication.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform assigned care duties.
• Successful completion of required background checks and drug screening.
• Strong communication skills.
• Work or activity history accounting for the past five years.
• Three references, including one person who has known the applicant for at least five years; email addresses are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, changing, toileting, and grooming.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Do laundry and provide medication reminders.
• Assist with transfers and other authorized care tasks.
• Provide transportation and run errands as needed and authorized.
• Complete required online training within the first 30 days and additional training or certifications as applicable.
