About The Position

Senior Solutions Home Care is hiring in-home caregivers in Kingsport, Tennessee, to provide one-on-one care to seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes. The role may suit experienced caregivers, CNAs, DSPs, and home health aides, as well as people new to home care; training and support are provided. The starting base rate is $14 per hour, with additional pay opportunities for eligible caregivers and assignments. Shifts range from 2 to 12 hours. Schedules are built around client needs, caregiver availability and location, and willingness to travel, and may change as client needs change. Caregivers may serve one or multiple clients in a day or throughout a week.

The company provides paid training and ongoing development. Caregivers must complete required online training within their first 30 days, with further training or certifications based on location. Eligible caregivers may pursue NADSP E-Badge credentials (DSP I, II, and III) and may earn up to $4,150 in program bonuses, subject to bonus requirements. Requirements

• Valid driver's license or state-issued ID.
• A second acceptable form of employment eligibility identification.
• Car insurance is preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
• Smartphone for scheduling and communication.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform assigned care duties.
• Successful completion of required background checks and drug screening.
• Strong communication skills.
• Work/activity history accounting for the past five years.
• Three references, including one person who has known the applicant for at least five years; email addresses are required.

• Active Tennessee CNA certification qualifies eligible caregivers for a $1-per-hour CNA premium.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, changing, toileting, and grooming.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Do laundry and provide medication reminders.
• Perform transfers and other authorized care tasks.
• Provide transportation and run errands as needed and authorized.
