About The Position

Senior Solutions Home Care is hiring an in-home Caregiver in Columbia, Tennessee, to provide one-on-one support to seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes. The role is offered as full-time, part-time, and PRN work. Caregivers help clients maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. Training and support are provided, including required online training within the first 30 days and additional training or certifications based on location. Schedules are built around client needs, caregiver availability and location, and willingness to travel. Shifts range from 2 to 12 hours, and caregivers may work with one or multiple clients per day or week. Schedules may change as clients’ needs change. Starting base pay is $14 per hour, with additional pay opportunities for eligible caregivers and assignments.

Requirements

Valid driver's license or state-issued ID.
A second acceptable form of employment eligibility identification.
Reliable transportation.
Smartphone for scheduling and communication.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform assigned care duties.
Successful completion of required background checks and drug screening.
Strong communication skills.
Work or activity history accounting for the past five years.
Three references, including one person who has known the applicant for at least five years; email addresses are required.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, changing, toileting, and grooming.
Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
Do laundry and provide medication reminders.
Assist with transfers and other authorized care tasks.
Provide transportation and run errands when needed and authorized.
