In-Home Caregiver - Montross, VA
About The Position
AmeriCare Plus – Northern Neck Agency is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Nursing Assistants (NA), and Personal Care Aides (PCA) to provide compassionate, high-quality personal care to clients in their homes. The role is based through the agency at 1251 Tappahannock Boulevard, Tappahannock, Virginia, and serves the Montross, Virginia area. The posting describes a Monday–Friday day-shift schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., while also noting full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules and availability that may include weekdays, weekends, or overnights. Requirements
- CNA, NA, or PCA certification; online training is provided for those interested in PCA work.

Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in home care or a similar setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Support client mobility and transfers, such as transfers from bed to wheelchair.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior.
