About The Position
AmeriCare Plus is hiring CNA, NA, and PCA caregivers to provide compassionate in-home personal care to clients in Rhoadesville, Virginia. Caregivers support clients with daily activities and provide companionship in the comfort of their homes. The case is available immediately and serves a veteran. Full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules are offered, with flexible availability that may include weekdays, weekends, and overnights.
Requirements
- CNA, NA, or PCA certification; online training is provided for those interested in PCA certification.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Virginia driver’s license.
- Social Security card and two professional references.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Support client mobility and transfers, such as moving from bed to wheelchair.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior.
