About The Position
AmeriCare Plus is hiring CNA, NA, and PCA caregivers to provide compassionate in-home personal care to clients in Fincastle, Virginia. The role involves supporting clients with daily activities and monitoring their well-being. Cases are available immediately. Schedules are available full-time, part-time, or PRN, with three 12-hour shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and every other weekend required for the stated schedule. The company offers weekly pay, benefits eligibility for full-time employees, PCA training, ongoing training, provided PPE, and referral bonus programs.
Requirements
- CNA, NA, or PCA certification; online training is provided for those interested in PCA.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Virginia driver’s license.
- Social Security card and two professional references.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Support client mobility and transfers, such as transfers from bed to wheelchair.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior.
