About The Position
AmeriCare Plus is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Nursing Assistants (NA), and Personal Care Aides (PCA) to provide compassionate in-home personal care to clients. The role involves helping clients with daily activities and offering support in the comfort of their own homes. A case is available immediately in Hampton, VA, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The posting also describes full-time, part-time, and PRN scheduling options.
Requirements
- CNA, NA, or PCA certification; online training is provided for those interested in becoming a PCA.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Virginia driver’s license.
- Social Security card and two professional references.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Support client mobility and transfers, such as moving between a bed and wheelchair.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior.
