In Home Caregiver (Overnights)
About The Position
Kore Cares is hiring part-time overnight caregivers in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Caregivers help clients remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their homes through individualized, one-on-one care. No prior caregiving experience or CNA certification is required; paid training is provided. The listed schedule is overnight, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and starting pay is $17–$21 per hour based on experience and qualifications. The employer offers opportunities for wage advancement and bonus opportunities. The position involves travel between clients’ homes, with paid travel time and mileage between client visits.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes in the Sioux Falls area.
- Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the position.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous caregiving or healthcare experience, or CNA certification, is welcome but not required.
Responsibilities
- Help clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and other personal care.
- Assist clients with walking, mobility, and transfers.
- Prepare meals and assist with eating when needed.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide transportation and assist with errands.
- Offer companionship and meaningful social interaction.
- Complete other tasks identified in the client’s individualized care plan.
