In Home Caregivers Make a Difference Close to Home
About The Position
Care to Stay Home is hiring compassionate, reliable, and dedicated in-home caregivers to support seniors and other individuals who need assistance living safely and comfortably in their own homes throughout Spokane County. Caregivers provide personalized, one-on-one support and companionship while helping clients maintain their independence and giving families peace of mind. The agency seeks both experienced caregivers and people with a genuine interest in caregiving, and offers training and opportunities to develop caregiving skills and advance professionally. Assignments are matched with caregivers’ availability, experience, and preferred service areas when possible. Pay is $17.13–$23.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, depending on availability and client needs.

- Ability to work independently in a client’s home.
- Reliable transportation to assigned client locations.
- Willingness to learn and develop professional caregiving skills.
- Ability to meet applicable Washington State caregiver employment, background screening, and training requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred.
- Experience caring for family members or supporting seniors and individuals with disabilities is valuable.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
- Prepare meals and provide nutritional support.
- Assist with mobility and fall prevention.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Assist with grocery shopping, errands, and transportation as authorized.
- Support clients living with dementia, Parkinson’s, and other age-related conditions.
- Communicate client needs and changes in condition to the care team.
