About The Position

Care to Stay Home – North Idaho is hiring in-home caregivers to help seniors and other individuals maintain their independence, safety, comfort, and quality of life in their own homes. Caregivers provide personalized one-on-one care and build meaningful relationships with clients. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with assignments throughout Hayden, Rathdrum, and Athol. Scheduling and client matches are based on caregiver availability, experience, client needs, and geographic preferences. The employer offers training opportunities, career advancement, and support from a local team. Pay is $17–$22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

Demonstrate a caring nature and a genuine desire to help others.
Be dependable, patient, and professional.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Be able to work independently in clients' homes.
Have reliable transportation to assigned client locations.
Be willing to learn and develop caregiving skills.
Meet applicable Idaho background screening and employment requirements.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving experience is preferred.
Experience caring for a family member, working with seniors, or supporting individuals with disabilities is valuable.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
Prepare meals and provide nutritional support.
Assist with mobility and help prevent falls.
Provide medication reminders.
Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
Assist with grocery shopping, errands, and transportation as authorized.
Provide dementia care and other specialized care based on training and experience.
