In-Home Caregiver – Carrollton, VA
About The Position
AmeriCare Plus is hiring CNA, NA, and PCA caregivers to provide compassionate in-home personal care to clients in Carrollton, Virginia. Caregivers support clients with daily needs in the comfort of their own homes. PCA training is provided for interested candidates who are not certified. The role offers full-time, part-time, and PRN scheduling, with flexible availability that may include weekdays, weekends, and overnights. Requirements
- CNA, NA, or PCA certification; online training is provided for those interested in PCA work.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Virginia driver’s license.
- Social Security card.
- Two professional references.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable disposition.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Support client mobility and transfers, such as moving from a bed to a wheelchair.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior.
