About The Position

Global Seller Onboarding Specialists manage the final stages of the sales funnel, working with U.S. merchants to drive deals through activation and accelerate onboarding. They use deep product and industry knowledge to project-manage the onboarding stage, guide sellers through discovery and onboarding, and ensure sellers are appropriately scoped, educated, set up, and trained to use Square’s platform. They also document and track feature requests to inform future product roadmaps. This customer-facing role combines remote and occasional onsite interactions with merchants. The role aims to deliver an excellent onboarding experience, accelerate the sales cycle through specialized onboarding and training, develop efficiencies that shorten the onboarding stage, and support Square’s international expansion. Typical work includes virtual consultations and training, advising merchants on hardware, software, and operations, staff training, menu setup, hardware installation, account configuration, and other data-entry tasks.
