About the position

The Implementation Project Manager is responsible for assisting in the management of customer implementations of Bottomline's Paymode-X solution. They work closely with various stakeholders, including Payers, Vendors, financial partners, and internal teams, to ensure a smooth and successful client onboarding experience. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for customers during the onboarding and implementation phase, and they are responsible for planning, executing, and completing projects while minimizing time to go-live. They also promote best practices, address issues, and prioritize activities to ensure the successful execution of multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting in the management of customer implementations of Bottomline's Paymode-X solution
  • Works closely with Payers, Vendors, and financial partners
  • Coordinates with internal Sales, Enrollment, Development, QA, and Hosted Services groups for a smooth client onboarding experience
  • Ensures the success of the client experience during onboarding to the Paymode-X platform
  • Plans, executes, and completes projects while minimizing time to go-live
  • Serves as the customer's primary point of contact during onboarding and implementation
  • Builds relationships with channel partners and customers to meet all customer requests and deliver an exceptional client experience
  • Communicates project status with key stakeholders using comprehensive project timelines, agendas, and meeting notes
  • Utilizes best practices for project management and implementation
  • Promotes and guides Bottomline and Payer best practices while considering/addressing the Payer's business goals
  • Coordinates work assignments with the bank channel, customers, and internal teams
  • Establishes and balances priorities and activities between multiple projects
  • Troubleshoots and tracks project issues, communicating with customers and escalating if required
  • Proactively addresses issues while minimizing impact to the overall project timeline

Requirements

  • Experience in project management and customer implementations
  • Familiarity with Bottomline's Paymode-X solution
  • Ability to coordinate and manage critical path milestones in project plans
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of project management best practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot and address project issues
  • Proactive problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance priorities and activities in multiple projects simultaneously

  • Technical proficiency in MS Office, MS SharePoint, JIRA
