The Immigration Consultant is an early-to-mid-career legal delivery professional who supports high-volume immigration casework and provides day-to-day client service. Reporting to an Associate or Senior Associate, the Consultant serves as a primary contact for routine client inquiries, manages the lifecycle of immigration filings using established workflows, and performs administrative work to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely case progression. The role includes supporting initial assessments, gathering client information, drafting forms and supporting letters, and coordinating with government agencies about case updates, Requests for Evidence (RFEs), and deadlines. The Consultant develops procedural expertise across immigration case types, keeps current with changes to immigration law and policy, and participates in training and process improvements. Success is measured by accuracy, compliance, professional communication, workflow management, and learning agility. BAL describes its work as demanding in volume and pace, while emphasizing collaboration, service, employee growth, and a team-oriented culture. The company offers competitive pay, a discretionary annual bonus, and an employee benefits package.
