About The Position

Beverly Hills Cancer Center is seeking an Imaging Scheduler to coordinate patient imaging appointments and related administrative processes. The role supports compassionate, comprehensive cancer care at the center’s modern facility, which offers diagnostic imaging and other cancer treatment services. The scheduler works with patients, physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to support clinic operations and patient care.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
At least two years of patient scheduling experience required.
Knowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes required.
Imaging or radiology experience required.
Excellent computer skills and EMR knowledge.

Nice To Haves

Medical records experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, direct, and schedule patients’ internal appointments for different imaging and radiology modalities based on orders.
Coordinate and track external referrals.
Verify insurance and enter information into the EMR.
Request authorizations.
Coordinate the retrieval and sending of requested medical records.
Monitor daily clinic schedules in accordance with scheduling protocols.
Build strong working relationships and act as a liaison with medical staff, including physicians, and ancillary departments.
Provide excellent customer service and communication.
Perform other patient coordinator duties, including patient check-in.
