About The Position
We are seeking experienced ICU/PCU Registered Nurses (RN) for a critical care assignment in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The RN will provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required
- Minimum 1 year of ICU/PCU or Critical Care experience required
- Current BLS Certification required
- Current ACLS Certification required
Nice To Haves
- PALS Certification preferred
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Experience in high-acuity hospital settings preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in ICU and Progressive Care settings
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate critically ill patients
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and critical care treatments
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, ventilators, and patient responses to treatment
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and patient records
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations and patient status changes
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection prevention standards
- Participate in shift handoffs, interdisciplinary rounds, and patient care planning
