About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long-Term Care assignment in Alma, Michigan. This opportunity is ideal for a compassionate and dependable nurse dedicated to providing high-quality care to residents in a skilled nursing environment. The RN will provide direct patient care, medication administration, assessments, and ongoing support to residents requiring long-term care services.
Requirements
- Active RN License required
- Current BLS Certification required
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one year of LTC experience preferred
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Complete patient assessments and maintain accurate charting
- Monitor resident conditions and report changes appropriately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Ensure compliance with facility protocols, safety standards, and infection control guidelines
- Support resident comfort, dignity, and overall well-being
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Respond appropriately to resident needs and emergencies
- Follow all facility and regulatory policies and procedures
