About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long Term Care assignment in Velva, North Dakota. This opportunity is ideal for nurses dedicated to delivering quality patient care and supporting residents in a skilled nursing environment. The RN will provide direct nursing care, perform patient assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure positive resident outcomes.
Requirements
- Active RN License required
- Current BLS Certification required
- Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
Nice To Haves
- Long Term Care (LTC) experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor resident conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and clinical records
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Support patient safety, comfort, and dignity
- Respond appropriately to resident needs and condition changes
- Follow facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory guidelines
- Provide compassionate and patient-centered care to residents
- Assist with care coordination and communication among healthcare teams
