About The Position

West Coast Heating, Air and Solar is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented HVAC Warranty Technician to support its Service, Maintenance, and Installation teams. The technician diagnoses and resolves warranty- and recall-related issues across service and installation functions, provides technical guidance and training to field technicians, and helps ensure a high-quality customer experience. The position offers 10% commission on all sales.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC service and/or installation.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across residential systems.
• Ability to create clear, concise, and accurate service documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train, mentor, and support fellow technicians.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• EPA Certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with ServiceTitan or similar field service software.

Responsibilities

• Perform warranty and recall service work across HVAC Service/Maintenance and Installation departments.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and complete repairs accurately.
• Provide technical support and guidance to HVAC technicians in the field.
• Document service work thoroughly, including completing warranty-related forms in ServiceTitan.
• Communicate recall-related findings to appropriate managers within 24 hours.
• Collaborate with managers to identify trends and training opportunities.
• Contribute to issue resolution and process refinement to support continuous improvement.
• Engage with manufacturer technical support when needed.
• Assist the Service department during high-demand periods.
