About The Position

Howard Air is seeking an experienced HVAC Warranty Technician to diagnose and resolve complex warranty-related installation and service issues. The role supports service quality, reduces repeat calls, and strengthens technician performance through mentorship, training, and collaboration. The technician works in field environments across residential job sites and partners with Dispatch and Service Management to resolve warranty calls efficiently. The position also involves maintaining tools and equipment, documenting service accurately, and ordering parts to support timely repairs.

Requirements

At least 3 years of HVAC service or installation experience, including diagnostic skills.
Strong communication, customer service, and leadership abilities.
Detail-oriented approach focused on quality and long-term solutions.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Run warranty calls.
Diagnose and resolve HVAC installation- and service-related warranty issues.
Identify repeat issues and support training initiatives to improve technician performance.
Mentor and coach service technicians and installers.
Partner with Dispatch and Service Management to resolve warranty calls efficiently.
Repair and troubleshoot HVAC systems and related equipment.
Maintain tools and equipment and complete accurate service documentation.
Order parts to support timely repair completion.
