About The Position
Aaron Services: Plumbing, Heating, Cooling is seeking a Level 1 HVAC Technician to join their expanding HVAC team. This full-time role is designed for a technician with a foundational understanding of HVAC who is eager to develop their skills further. The position will primarily involve performing HVAC maintenance and assisting with equipment installations, with future opportunities to engage in additional service, repair, and sales work as proficiency grows. The company emphasizes developing technicians, offering a clear path for growth beyond the Level 1 role, aiming to build a team of skilled and valuable HVAC professionals.
Requirements
- Basic HVAC knowledge and hands-on experience
- Understanding of common residential heating and cooling equipment
- Ability to perform routine HVAC maintenance
- Willingness and ability to assist with equipment installations
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Professional communication with homeowners and coworkers
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and able to work independently as responsibilities increase
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- EPA certification
- HVAC trade school and/or previous field experience is necessary
Responsibilities
- Perform residential heating and cooling maintenance visits
- Inspect HVAC equipment and identify potential problems or areas of concern
- Complete routine maintenance and cleaning according to company standards
- Clearly document equipment condition and work performed
- Communicate professionally with homeowners about their HVAC systems
- Assist experienced technicians with HVAC equipment replacements and installations
- Help with removal of existing equipment, preparation, installation, startup, and cleanup
- Maintain accurate job notes and documentation using ServiceTitan
- Maintain tools, equipment, and an organized work area
- Participate in ongoing technical and sales training
- Take on additional diagnostic, service, repair, and sales opportunities as your skills develop
