About The Position

Lincoln Tech is seeking an HVAC Technician Instructor to teach and mentor students in its HVAC program in East Windsor, Connecticut. The instructor provides theoretical and hands-on training in a well-equipped facility, prepares students for certification exams and HVAC careers, and supports student growth using the program’s accredited curriculum. The role includes a four-day work week with three-day weekends.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of HVAC Technician experience.
• S1 or S2 license, or the ability to obtain an S license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Teach HVAC technologies according to the accredited curriculum.
• Conduct hands-on training in the facility.
• Create an engaging learning environment that promotes student growth.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with industry standards.
• Stay current with HVAC technologies and practices.
• Collaborate with faculty to improve program effectiveness.
• Prepare students for certification exams and careers in HVAC.
