About The Position

AllState Career School in Baltimore, Maryland, is seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC/R Technician to join its faculty and teach in its HVAC Program. This is a full-time professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility is teaching HVAC/R courses. The typical teaching load is three courses each term, with two or three course preparations. The instructor will also provide academic advising to students, assist the Program Director, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.

Requirements

• Completion of an HVAC/R program resulting in a certificate of completion or diploma.
• Active Maryland HVACR Journeyman or Master HVACR license.
• At least three years of full-time experience as an HVAC/R Technician.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven.

Nice To Haves

• An associate degree is preferred but not required.
• NATE certification is desired but not required.
• HVAC Excellence certification is desired but not required.
• Prior higher education or postsecondary teaching experience is preferred.
