About The Position

AllState Career School in Baltimore, Maryland, is seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC/R Technician to teach in its HVAC Program. The position teaches HVAC/R courses, with a typical teaching load of three courses per term and two or three course preparations. The faculty member also provides academic advising to students, assists the program director, and participates in department training, meetings, and graduation. This is a full-time professional position reporting directly to the Program Director.

Requirements

• Completion of an HVAC/R program resulting in a certificate of completion or diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required.
• Active Maryland HVACR Journeyman or Master HVACR license.
• EPA Universal certification.
• At least three years of full-time experience as an HVAC/R Technician.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven.

Nice To Haves

• Prior higher education or postsecondary teaching experience.
