About The Position

Lincoln Tech is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to teach in its HVAC Technology program. No prior teaching experience is required; the company supports technicians transitioning into education. The instructor will teach and provide hands-on training in a fully equipped facility, deliver Lincoln Tech’s accredited curriculum using its Blended Learning Model, and advise and mentor students. The role also includes completing Lincoln Instructor Foundational Training (LIFT). The position offers a four-day work week with no weekends and is full-time.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of HVAC technician experience.
• EPA 608 certification, required within the first 3 months.
• OSHA 30 certification, required within the first 3 months.
• Universal EPA 608 Refrigerant Recovery License.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Great communication skills.
• Proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities

• Teach and provide hands-on training in HVAC Technology in a fully equipped facility.
• Facilitate and effectively deliver Lincoln Tech’s accredited course curriculum using the Blended Learning Model.
• Support and motivate student growth, professionalism, and accountability through advising and mentoring.
• Evaluate and communicate student progress fairly and consistently.
• Teach students the importance of safety and compliance.
• Maintain a professional, visitor-ready classroom environment.
• Complete the Lincoln Instructor Foundational Training (LIFT) program.
• Prepare students for successful careers in HVAC Technology.
