About The Position

Lincoln Tech is seeking skilled HVAC technicians to teach in its HVAC Technology program. No prior teaching experience is required; the company helps technicians transition into educator roles. Instructors deliver hands-on training in a fully equipped, climate-controlled facility, guide students through the accredited curriculum using a Blended Learning Model, and help prepare them for careers in HVAC technology. The role includes completing the Lincoln Instructor Foundational Training (LIFT) program.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of HVAC Technician experience.
• EPA 608 certification, required within the first 3 months.
• OSHA 30 certification, required within the first 3 months.
• Universal EPA 608 Refrigerant Recovery License.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Great communication skills.
• Proficiency in technology.

Responsibilities

• Teach and provide hands-on training in HVAC Technology in a fully equipped facility.
• Facilitate and deliver Lincoln Tech’s accredited course curriculum using its Blended Learning Model.
• Support and motivate students’ growth, professionalism, and accountability through advising and mentoring.
• Evaluate student progress and communicate it fairly and consistently.
• Teach students the importance of safety and compliance.
• Maintain a professional, visitor-ready classroom environment.
• Complete the Lincoln Instructor Foundational Training (LIFT) program.
• Prepare students for successful careers in HVAC Technology.
