About The Position
Lincoln Tech is hiring an HVAC Technician Instructor in Hicksville, New York, to educate and mentor aspiring HVAC professionals. The instructor will provide theoretical and hands-on training in a well-equipped facility, using an accredited curriculum to prepare students for HVAC certifications and careers. The role is part of an established HVAC program with a record of graduate success. The position offers a four-day work week, with three-day weekends each week, and a climate-controlled work environment.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of HVAC Technician experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring.
Responsibilities
- Teach HVAC Technologies following the accredited curriculum.
- Conduct hands-on training in the facility.
- Create an engaging learning environment that promotes student growth.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Deliver lesson plans aligned with industry standards.
- Stay current with HVAC technologies and practices.
