About The Position
R. Brooks Mechanical is hiring an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems. The role serves clients across Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania and involves working on a range of commercial equipment and controls. Requirements
- At least 4 years of HVAC service experience.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems and components.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues on commercial systems, including RTUs, split systems, heat pumps, VRF/VRV systems, air handlers, and exhaust systems.
- Perform routine HVAC equipment maintenance, including filter changes, coil cleaning, lubrication, belt replacement, and refrigerant checks.
- Work with DDC and BAS systems, including Trane, Johnson Controls, and Honeywell, to adjust setpoints, troubleshoot alarms, and verify control sequences.
