About The Position

The HVAC Service Technician II independently performs preventive maintenance, service calls, system-performance optimization, and increasingly complex repairs on light-commercial HVAC equipment. The role applies advanced system knowledge to deliver technical solutions with a strong customer-service focus. The technician services larger rooftop units and split systems, generally ranging from 10 to 20 tons, and works directly with customers on HVAC maintenance, repairs, and equipment-replacement needs. The technician represents DynaTen professionally, communicates equipment conditions and recommendations clearly, and completes service documentation accurately and on time. Work takes place in customer facilities, mechanical rooms, on rooftops, and in indoor and outdoor service environments. The role may involve standing, walking, climbing ladders, bending, lifting, using tools, working around energized mechanical and electrical equipment, and exposure to weather, noise, and non-climate-controlled conditions. Required PPE and company and customer safety procedures must be followed. Schedule flexibility and after-hours or on-call participation may be required based on service needs. DynaTen Corporation, a Comfort Systems USA company, has provided commercial construction and service solutions in the greater North Texas market since 1980.
