About The Position

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Service Dispatcher for its Bethel Park office, serving the Pittsburgh area. The dispatcher coordinates technician appointment schedules, keeps homeowners informed, and helps the field team arrive prepared for each appointment. The role requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage customer needs in a busy environment.

The dispatcher manages the daily service schedule, adjusts assignments as delays and urgent requests arise, communicates appointment and arrival updates to customers, and supports technicians with job details and routing. The position also involves maintaining accurate customer and service records in ServiceTitan and professionally addressing customer questions and concerns.

Requirements

• At least one year of dispatching, scheduling, or customer service experience.
• Strong phone communication skills and the ability to handle customer concerns professionally.
• Ability to manage multiple appointments, shifting priorities, and detailed records accurately.
• Reliable follow-through and a collaborative approach to supporting customers and technicians.

Nice To Haves

• ServiceTitan experience is strongly preferred.
• HVAC or home services experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily dispatch board by scheduling HVAC service calls and assigning technicians according to availability, location, and appointment needs.
• Adjust schedules in response to delays, urgent requests, cancellations, and follow-up visits.
• Answer incoming calls, confirm appointment details, and provide customers with timely arrival and service updates.
• Communicate job details to technicians, assist with routing, and coordinate scheduling needs through job completion.
• Maintain accurate ServiceTitan records, including customer information, job notes, appointment details, and service status.
• Address customer questions professionally and coordinate with the appropriate team member when additional support is needed.
