About The Position

Lennox National Account Services (NAS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Lennox International, provides commercial HVAC maintenance and service across the continental United States. The company is expanding its branch network and offers employees opportunities to learn and grow. This entry-level technician role supports commercial customers with installation, maintenance, and servicing of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. The technician assists with preventative maintenance, routine repairs, and calibration after installation, using technical skills to maintain systems. Work is performed in a team-based environment, with a focus on sharing information and workload, customer satisfaction, and safety. Other duties may be assigned. The role is hourly and non-exempt. The stated annual salary range is $36,000–$44,000. Starting compensation may vary based on geography or market, tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. Employees are not eligible for a bonus but earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week, or as otherwise required by state law. Occasional weekend and night work and occasional travel may be required.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
2 to 6 years of hands-on commercial HVAC experience.
EPA Certification—Type I and Type II or Universal.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Technical aptitude to perform equipment maintenance, service, and troubleshooting.
Excellent customer service skills.
Good electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
Ability to complete repairs and required paperwork.
Ability to work independently and self-schedule.
Self-motivation to complete assigned tasks within time constraints.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends.
Ability to safely access rooftops using fixed or extension ladders, work at heights, load and unload tools and equipment, climb ladders, and repeatedly reach overhead.
Ability to lift occasionally up to 75 pounds and lift occasionally to shoulder or overhead up to 25 pounds.
Ability to push or pull a wheeled cart up to 150 pounds.
Ability to perform manual tandem lifting of loads up to 125 pounds.

Responsibilities

Assist with on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installation.
Use technical abilities to maintain commercial HVAC systems.
Work in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Work safely and ensure all safety measures are followed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial rooftop HVAC units.
Complete repairs and required paperwork.
Work independently and self-schedule assigned work.
