About The Position

Lennox National Account Services (NAS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Lennox International, provides commercial HVAC maintenance and service across the United States. This entry-level role is intended for someone looking to begin and grow a career in the HVAC industry. The technician supports field installation, maintenance, and service activities for commercial heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems, including commercial rooftop units. Work is often performed independently and involves customer service, safe work practices, and coordination with teammates. Local travel may be required, and the role periodically provides on-call service coverage. Overtime and weekend work may be required. This is an hourly, non-exempt role with an annual salary range of $33,000–$41,000. Starting pay may vary based on geography or market and the candidate’s tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. Employees are not eligible for a bonus but earn overtime for hours worked beyond 40 in a week, or as otherwise required by state law. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least 1 year in a mechanical support role; some hands-on HVAC experience is preferred.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
Ability to load and unload tools and equipment from a work van.
Ability to lift occasionally up to 75 pounds, lift to shoulder and overhead occasionally up to 25 pounds, push or pull a wheeled cart up to 150 pounds, and participate in manual tandem lifting of loads up to 125 pounds.
Ability to extend reach overhead in a repetitive motion.
Technical aptitude to perform maintenance, service, and equipment troubleshooting.
Excellent customer service skills.
Good electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently, self-schedule, and complete assigned tasks within time constraints with minimum supervision.
Flexibility to work overtime, on-call periods, and weekends.

Nice To Haves

HVAC trade school graduation, strongly preferred, with a 3.5 GPA and excellent attendance.
EPA Type I and Type II or Universal Certification preferred.
NATE certification is a plus.
Hands-on HVAC experience.

Responsibilities

Assist with on-site preventive maintenance, routine repairs, and calibration after installation.
Use technical abilities to maintain HVAC systems.
Support installation, maintenance, and servicing of commercial HVAC systems and rooftop units.
Work in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Work safely and ensure safety measures are followed at all times.
Complete repairs and required paperwork.
Work independently and self-schedule assigned tasks.
Provide periodic on-call service coverage.
Perform other duties as assigned.
