About The Position

This apprenticeship provides the knowledge, technical expertise, and hands-on experience needed to develop into a skilled HVAC professional, with the potential to advance to HVAC Service Technician. The apprentice participates in structured training at the HVAC Technical Training Center and SkillCat Academy while supporting a Lead Service Technician on service calls. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, high-quality work, customer care, professionalism, organized job sites, accurate documentation, and continued training and growth.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in and complete the SkillCat Academy.
• Attend structured training sessions at the HVAC Technical Training Center and gain hands-on experience.
• Support the Lead Service Technician on service calls, working efficiently and precisely.
• Build customer relationships to support satisfaction and trust.
• Present yourself professionally to encourage referrals and repeat business.
• Learn to troubleshoot and resolve HVAC issues while adhering to quality standards.
• Keep job sites clean and organized and ensure service trucks are properly stocked.
• Assist with accurate and timely paperwork and job documentation.
• Learn and apply the Nexstar Service System in customer interactions.
• Continue investing in training and professional growth.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
