About The Position

Rodenhiser Home Services is seeking an HVAC Service Apprentice to support HVAC service technicians in maintaining, operating, and repairing HVAC systems. The position provides hands-on experience and in-house training with state-of-the-art equipment, along with opportunities for continuing education and career advancement in a family-owned business. Apprentices work alongside lead HVAC technicians on in-home service calls and help keep the technician’s truck and job sites clean and organized. The expected base salary range is $40,000–$60,000, based on responsibilities, experience, and other relevant factors. Employees may also be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other variable compensation, depending on their position.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Good mechanical skills.
Ability to take direction and technical instruction.
Highly motivated, eager to learn, and forward-thinking.
Willingness to commit to continuing education.
Ability to establish customer rapport throughout the service process.

Responsibilities

Assist the Lead HVAC Technician with general in-home service calls.
Assist the Lead HVAC Technician with troubleshooting and repairs.
Keep the technician’s truck and job site clean and organized.
Maintain a high level of motivation and a “Can Do” attitude.
Establish customer rapport throughout the service process.
