About The Position
The HVAC Manager will supervise and lead the HVAC team, ensuring all HVAC/R systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with resort standards and regulatory guidelines. This role involves hands-on support for complex diagnostics, repairs, and installations, as well as managing preventive maintenance programs and identifying opportunities for energy efficiency and cost savings. The manager will also coordinate with other Engineering leadership on projects, oversee vendor relationships, and maintain essential documentation.
Requirements
- HVAC/R experience
- EPA refrigerant handling certification
- Valid driver's license

Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the HVAC team, including scheduling, task delegation, and performance oversight
- Ensure all HVAC/R systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with resort standards and regulatory guidelines
- Provide hands-on support for complex diagnostics, repairs, and system installations
- Manage preventive maintenance programs for HVAC and refrigeration systems across the resort
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for energy efficiency and cost savings
- Coordinate with other Engineering leadership to support large-scale and capital improvement projects
- Oversee vendor relationships, service contracts, and equipment inventory
- Maintain documentation of inspections, repairs, compliance records, and work orders
- Serve as the point of contact for HVAC-related emergencies or escalated system issues
- Support team development through technical guidance, training, and accountability
