About The Position

This entry-level position provides hands-on training and mentorship for a career in HVAC. Trainees work alongside experienced technicians and learn HVAC customer service, sales, maintenance, and service. The role focuses heavily on customer service in residential homes and includes hourly pay plus commission. Paid training is provided, beginning January 27, 2027.

After training, the trainee will assist with HVAC maintenance and repairs, learn diagnostic techniques, perform basic system checks and upkeep, interact with customers, follow safety and compliance requirements, and help document completed services and parts used. The work takes place at residential job sites in field environments.

Requirements

• Ability to work in field environments, climb ladders, navigate uneven surfaces, work in confined spaces, and move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and vehicles.
• Ability to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Interact with homeowners, make in-home sales suggestions, and recommend products or services as appropriate.
• Support senior technicians with maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems.
• Learn and use diagnostic techniques to identify and resolve HVAC issues.
• Perform routine system checks, clean components, and replace filters.
• Assist with customer interactions and address customer concerns professionally.
• Follow safety standards and regulations.
• Help maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
