About The Position
Norwood Crossing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to help ensure the safe and efficient operation of its facilities and equipment and provide a warm, welcoming environment for residents. The role involves routine maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems; equipment checks; helping install and set up equipment and furniture; and responding to residents’ maintenance requests. The technician also keeps the work environment clean and organized, collaborates with team members, and maintains accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct regular checks of equipment and machinery to identify potential issues or defects.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment and furniture.
- Respond to resident requests for maintenance and repair services.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to support efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
