About The Position

Mose & Son, a Southern Home Services company, is seeking an HVAC Install Helper to assist the HVAC Lead Install Technician with installing, upgrading, and replacing HVAC systems in residential properties. The role supports high-quality installations that meet service standards and customer specifications while providing professional customer service. It involves working in indoor and outdoor environments, including attics and crawlspaces, and in varying weather conditions. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Ability to climb ladders, access attics, navigate tight spaces and crawlspaces, drive, push, carry, pull, use hand tools, and perform fine detail work.
Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, handle or feel objects or controls, reach with hands and arms, and regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
Ability to work in indoor and outdoor settings and tolerate extreme temperatures and adverse weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

EPA Certification; the company will help obtain it if the candidate does not already have it.
Duct cleaning or clearing experience.
Spanish language skills; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Assist with the installation of HVAC systems and equipment according to service standards and customer specifications.
Check installation work thoroughly to prevent callbacks and help ensure optimal system performance.
Follow appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
Keep tools, parts, and the vehicle clean and organized.
Use floor savers and drop cloths to protect customers’ property and maintain a neat work area.
Meet scheduled appointments and on-call hours and complete jobs on time.
Work in tight spaces, including attics and crawlspaces, and in varying weather conditions.
Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, and moving objects weighing over 50 pounds.
Work safely on scaffolds and ladders at various heights.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
