About The Position

CABS Heating & Air Conditioning is hiring a phone-based inside sales representative to follow up with homeowners who have already received estimates for new heating and cooling systems. The role focuses on ensuring that no estimate is forgotten, understanding what may be holding a customer back, and recovering sales through friendly, patient follow-up. This is not a cold-calling role; the people contacted have already met the company’s team and requested a price. The position is primarily desk-based in the company’s West Sacramento office, using a headset and computer. No prior HVAC knowledge is required: the company provides training on its products, software, and calls, and plans the first week hour by hour. The position is full-time and hourly, paying $20–$22 per hour plus commission on recovered sales. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Health, vision, and dental insurance are available after 60 days, along with paid sick leave, birthday pay, and paid vacation.
